  1. N.C. Wyeth is great. I got a edition of Thoreau's "Men of Concord" illustrated by Wyeth. I think his father was a famous artist, too, but I might be thinking of someone else.

  2. N.C was the father of James Wyeth- the famous artist who painted Christina's World. Maybe that's what you are thinking of. N.C. was an amazing artist but his paintings were used as Illustrations for many, many famous stories such as Robinson Caruso.
