To help celebrate Canada's 150th birthday Parks Canada is giving away their 2017 Discovery Pass for free. This pass will provide unlimited access to national parks, marine conservation areas and historic sites.

In the Minister of Environment and Climate Change mandate letter it mentions "Beginning in 2018, ensure that admission for children under 18 is free, and provide any adult who has become a Canadian citizen in the previous 12 months one year’s free admission."

What a great way to get the young citizens out in the wild. I'd like to see something similar implemented stateside. Enjoy, my neighbors to the north!
